Infinergy appeals!

We had hoped Infinergy would listen to the public and decide not to appeal. The local people do not want ten 415 ft. industrial wind turbines in the Vale of Belvoir. Infinergy's claims of working closely with the local community are as spurious as are their claims of the amount of electricity these turbines will generate and the CO2 saved in one of the least windy areas of Britain.

The people of the Vale of Belvoir do not want to be part of the senseless rush to green energy that enforces industrialisation on our countryside. We do not want to see the devaluation of our homes and our quality of life spoilt by industrial levels of noise, which are likely to be worse at night.

BLOT is not going to let this happen. We will fight the Appeal to the best of our ability, led by professional consultants who have a proven track record. To do this we need your continued support and in order to fight this battle we need to raise substantial funds. If you would like to help, or contribute, or both, please contact us via the links on this site.

We have a 66% chance of winning this Appeal !

Appeal against wind farm decision lodged

Disclaimer: This website represents the views and opinions of the BLOT committee and our members. We have strived to be as accurate as we can in relaying industry and media news on the subject of industrial-scale wind turbine developments. Please note, the image at the top of the page is an artistic representation of what the proposed Infinergy turbines would look like. We have tried to make it as accurate as possible by using the known height of the anemometer (just visible) in the photo and the proposed locations of the turbines from an Ordanance Survey map.
