BLOT may soon have to fight an expensive Appeal
Infinergy have 6 months in which to lodge an appeal. If they do, a Government Inspector will be appointed to consider their case. In order to fight an appeal, BLOT will have to retain legal personnel and pay expert witnesses to fight our corner. It will probably take months for the appeal to be heard, as there is currently a waiting list for Inspectors.

We will require substantial funds to fight an appeal. Across the country, approximately two thirds of applications are being rejected at the moment - it will be well worth it. Soon we will be starting a fundraising campaign and hoping to secure pledges, so that when the Appeal is lodged, we will be ready to fight.

Please help BLOT to win this appeal by supporting us financially.

Disclaimer: This website represents the views and opinions of the BLOT committee and our members. We have strived to be as accurate as we can in relaying industry and media news on the subject of industrial-scale wind turbine developments. Please note, the image at the top of the page is an artistic representation of what the proposed Infinergy turbines would look like. We have tried to make it as accurate as possible by using the known height of the anemometer (just visible) in the photo and the proposed locations of the turbines from an Ordanance Survey map.
